My Decree Absolute came through this week and now I'm not so sure.
Did you go back to your maiden name?
Does it confuse the children?
Not sure I like the thought of being a 'Miss' or a 'Ms'
Before i met my wife Nikki, i was also a divorcee. I remember that approximately 18 months after proceedings are started, then you get a Decree Nisi. It becomes a Decree Absolute 6 months after that.
How did you get divorced so quick???
If you are proud of the family name that you were given by your parents, then you use it girl!!!
If the reason for the breakdown of your marriage was the fault of your husband, then why keep your name the same as his??? At least this way, you can now move on with your life, and join the B.A.B Club (Born Again Batchelor).
Being a Born Again Batchelor was fun for me because, up until i met my second wife, i had four different relationships on the go at the same time!!! LOL
Its just like being single, but with the added wisdom the you have gained from being married.
My Very Best Wishes To You
