Sorry this is so late...here's a little party I organized this Christmas. I hope you like the special effects! I worked hard on them.

That is pretty slick. That will be remembered by the kids for a very long time.
What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.

Saint....Happy New Year to You!

I can tell you work hard on this video and it shows! Kudos!!! But I think the beauty of it is the way everyone came together to celebrate the holiday. It had to be rewarding to see the students (and some with their children) participating. You did a blessed thing again this year!

Many healthy, strong vibes to you and your students at Rocinante High School!

Thanks for all the kind thoughts on this thread. I hope it brought a little light into your world...because Lord knows we need it. (But, if you work with children, you know that things aren't really as bad as the news would make you think!)

Very impressive,

Thanks, as you can tell, I organize it and put on the show. It a way of creating a positive school climate and bonding the staff and students. It creates school spirit and pride as well. (We try for a family-like atmosphere.)

I hope they appreciate you ?

The school does, the students certainly do, the staff does, the community as well!

My state and nation? ....not so much. Teachers are underpaid, disrespected as a cohort, and generally charged with solving all of society's ills with little or no tools or power to do that.

Oh...and we get shot a lot these days.

I know why I hadn't seen it now, I was galivanting in Africa around that time.

Teachers are under rated by the so called advanced nations by and large.

Africa? NICE!

I'll be seeing Boston and Cape Cod in the future. I'm excited. I've been there before, but only when I was very young and couldn't remember it.
