Easter Egg Hunt

I note that Facebook has started with the normal Easter Egg outrage.

I will not support any company that removes Easter from it's Easter products like and share if you agree

Are people really that gullible to share such stupid fake news, of course they are  so I had to share this back at them ;)

Well, I learn something new today.

I have never encountered 'the Poke'

Yet another delightful time-waster, and this one just in time for the incoming blizzard that will have us virtually hibernating through the weekend.

Thanks, Betty!

BTW: I've actually never encountered these anti-easter eggs.

The irony is that Easter has absolutely nothing to do with Christianity. The very name comes from Eastra, Goddess of Spring & New Life, hence the Easter Bunnies & Easter Eggs. I would have expected it to be the Christians who would want the Pagan word 'Easter' removed from Seasonal goods.

Actually, whatever it meant before the Church hijacked the name and the holiday is irrelevant. The Church did that kind of thing a lot some thousand plus years ago.

I want Easter removed from the Christian Calendar, as it's offensive to Pagans.
