I bought this print. I think its brilliant. I like the subject matter (it lets me travel to another place and time) the colors are very vivid and the structure is sharp and grabs me.

My wife hates it.

Would you hang this in your house ?

Chonigirl Who is the artist of your picture with the yellow swirls in the deep blue sky? I used to know an artist that painted in that style. Would like to know if that is one of hers.

My daughter has our entire 'family tree' in photos hanging on the wall in her house. We got together all the photos. scanned them and turned the colour ones into B&W. They go back to 1913. starting with the one I've posted below which is my grandad and grandma, mum and her brothers...yes they are boys in dresses.... it's always a talking point. The other one is my Mum taken in 1940...my favourite.

Aw, what a shame! It's a classic. I think there are three of them; the poker one the pool one and something else.

A friend of mine had all of em hanging in the pool/games room. The only place for 'em really, that and shabby old boozers.

I find them rather creepy and wouldn't give them house room myself. At the same time they fill me with nostalgia. If I had a games room perhaps...

Talking of shabby old boozers: I'm off to Bothwell's! Pint anyone?
