A minister's young son sat on the floor of his father's office watching him write a sermon.

"How do you know what to say?" the boy asked.

"Why, God tells me." his father replied.

"Well, then why do you keep crossing things out?"
A formula for tact: "Be brief politely, be aggressive smilingly, be emphatic pleasantly, be positive diplomatically, be right graciously".
