Hello Everyone and Happy New year!

As the year came to a close in 2016, I happened to be reviewing many aspects in my life. The time was more of a coincidence than anything else, as I'm not real big on New Years Resolutions. One thing that was important for me was to spend time that I'm already online, more productively.

Instead of reading facebook and news sites in the morning before work, and to unwind later - I would rather be learning, reading, sharing and interacting with others in a way I feel is more meaningful.

Anyway, thank you for reading my intro. I look forward to getting to know many of you here with time.

All the best,

Paul

I've been reading about Fort Lauderdale this month, books about Travis McGee by John D MacDonald with a command of language few people display. There's a lot about the topography and criticism of the way it was developed, If it carries on like this, he wrote back in the late 70s, the population of Florida is going to hit 30 million. There's frequent asides about environmental degradation. So, if you keep a cruiser in the Bahia Mar marina I'm much impressed at the coincidence.

I hope you enjoy spending time here.

What happened to Kamala Harris' campaign?
She had the black vote all locked up.
