Earthquakes again

Two in one day, so far.

Italian town of Amatrice struck by earthquake - BBC News

Myanmar hit by 6.8 magnitude earthquake - BBC News

I wouldn't like to have been near either. They're expecting to find a couple of hundred dead from the one in Italy.

Thats a bad one.

Lets face it disasters are always going to happen and always have. But i think we all hope that the population may of got off by the skin of their teeth. Its pure luck when it happens as to where you are and where mother nature for want of a better term strikes next. Sometimes its a mountain range or a sea away or just a kilometre.

Those poor people though.....its expected the death toll will rise substantially.

Poor things. Theyre still getting over the last one. No tsunami though which is good. Over a 100 after shocks though.

Typical though, thats the area i want to eventually live. Better brush up on earthquake skills.

Yeah, i believe any seismic site you go to taps into the world central site. I dont think anyone needs to go to any site to understand there are a few major plates chucking a wobbly at the moment.
