Some McDonald's in the U.K. have joined KFC to ban teenagers in its restaurants unless they have adult supervision.

McDonald's said in a statement that this was not a nationwide ban, but would apply to those locations in Stroke-on-Trent that have encountered "anti-social" behavior by teens, the BBC reports.McDonald's in UK joins KFC and bans teens from restaurants | Fox News

When police arrive over reported gun shots - are they armed?

Gangs and firearms and unruly teens. Couple of folks beaten in Washington DC last month - one for not answering a demand of whether or not he thinks 'black lives matter'

This didnt make the news here as far as I'm aware. Newsround is a 5 minute BBC news programme for teenagers.

Depends where it is and what is being reported to them.

London they almost certainly would wait for the armed response unit..

Stoke on Trent it's more likely that it would take too long to get an armed response unit there and they'd go in (carefully) unarmed unless the report showed a high level of gunfire.
