GI Joe Cop - What a Guy

This police officer, known to those familiar with him, as GI Joe, was truly something else, and a sad example of what has become of too many American police force members. Not for the the money he stole or for the carefully staged and elaborate suicide web he weaved, but rather, for his history as a police officer. This guy had complaints about him over the years up the wazoo, and not only from citizens, but also from others within the force.

How sad that police officers can have such lengthy records of complaints and still be on the force, and not only on the force, but on the beat, and, heading up official youth activities within the force.

If you decide not to read the entire article, at least scroll down and take a look at the selfie he took. The man was in need of help for a long time it seems and nobody cared. He probably threatened anyone who might have had the balls to say something to him.

Not sure that I could trust someone wearing a t-shirt that said "Jump out of planes and kill people"....I wonder how many more 'ticking time bombs' there are, masquerading under cogent, respectable demeanours? As you say, very sad. (And worrying, I don't doubt)

We seem to have had a fellow who was trying something similar, here in Colorado.

This guy reported that someone shot him during a traffic stop. His Kevlar saved his life.

Now we are all wondering just what was really going on.
