I am utterly disgusted in what has been said by the Taxpayers' Alliance at a fringe meeting at the Conservative Party conference in Manchester. What sort of unfeeling, wicked, selfish people are there attached to the Conservative Party ? Is this what is going to happen to the pensioners who have worked all their lives and paid in to National Insurance and Income Tax of this country? Is this what retiring people have got to look forward to ? WHAT A CON !!!! It is pure wickedness to even think of suggesting cutting the already meager pensions and deserved benefits for our older generation !

As far as I am concerned, the Conservative Party are as good as finished, when they think like that !

Read it. Wow, that's harsh. Happens here, too, of course. Some people are just plain mean & are also naive in thinking they will never face misfortune or need a helping hand. In the case of pensioners, or retirees, or unemployment insurance, that is OUR money, which we have worked for & paid into the "system." When people feel stressed by the idea of tightening resources, many become very selfish instead of being brave enough to tackle the real problem---the ones already rich who've used the "system" to gobble the resources. The recession was/is a fake-out.

Actually, these nasty, miserable arrogant people seem to have over-looked the ever-increasing and powerful 'grey' vote. Their nasty words will come back and bite them !

What a disgusting, evil, self-serving, egocentric, fascist bunch of advantage-seeking, genocidal megalomaniacs! Words cannot express the abhorrence and loathing that I feel for these ageist, pond-life scumbags. Thousands of old folk condemned to slow death by starvation, or hypothermia. Where's the compassion for people who have worked and paid taxes all their lives? And in some cases, risked their lives for their country?

This mirrors Nazi ideals uncannily, and has no place in any compassionate society, IMO.

I hope,for their sake, that these murderers never find themselves dependent upon my mercy....

Especially the revolting Alex Wild, and the equally revolting Liam Fox. They have the morals of cutthroats.

What abominations they truly are. Them, and their god-forsaken tory party.

I must admit, I'm still boiling mad about these callous killers of elderly and vunerable people. My parents are getting on somewhat now (late 70's), and are understandably horrified at what Alex Wild and Liam Fox are suggesting. I hope they (Wild and Fox) are in need of life-saving help one day, and I fervently hope this help is denied. Maybe then they'll know the meaning of vunerability, fear and helplessness...

With the Labour Party being substantially weakened, and UKIP standing little to no chance of ever gaining power, maybe it's time to seriously consider mass civil disobedience, or even insurrection? I for one cannot stand the thought of an incumbent tory party, and would happily give my life to bring back true English values to this green and pleasant land, and it's systematically disenfranchised people.

Hope I'm there to see it!

Thinking about this, of course, could this be a 'hidden agenda', as the 'grey vote' is increasing in number and no doubt increasing in threat? Could it be that 'the powers that be' are trying to adopt a policy of stealthy euthanasia in order to minimise any 'anti votes' ? A form of genocide ?

Nothing would surprise me !
