£12m eh? You have to admire the Brits for playing the game for so long at such a cost. They're doing it, of course, to keep a straight face turned towards the U.S. Britain knows what's at stake for Assange and secretly wish him well ..... but they're putting on a stern face so that the U.S. won't pull the plug on whatever "dirty goods" they have on 10 Downing.
