So, Putin's decided to place sanctions on everyone who's placing sanctions on him?

We've refused to sell our stuff to him, so he's decided to retaliate by refusing to buy anything from us.

Makes sense.

It may do them some long term good. New eager cheaper suppliers from friendly countries, plus more home produced stuff, win win.

Too bad we didn't listen to the russians when they were attacking the taliban and backed the muhahadeen instead, maybe putin is right about syria as well when he says whoever replaces assad is likely to be far worse - isis is one of the groups the west was wanting to supply with arms.
