Rain is fine. Snow is fine. Sun is fine. I like a variety. I don't really like gales all the time, not on land. I don't really like the fact that I get up when it's dark, go to work in the dark, come home in the dark. Roll on the 21st. (or is it the 22nd.?).

Sunshine makes me feel youthful, Rain & dark evenings makes me feel old, but the snow makes me feel like a big kid.

Humph, you won't look it for long if you stay out in it a lot. See all these sunbathers after 10 years. They look as if they've spent the time in a bath of cold tea.

Windy weather, I had to re-phrase my original words, puts me in a bad mood.

It doesn't matter to me either way, i am always happy. I have to be, i set the tone for every-one here. Don't worry be happy--its better for you. There is too much to do, weather pending or not. We keep going rain or shine, we have to.

Rather squally this morning, but calmer and dry now. It may be rather a

"wet weekend" though. Oh my head.

we are planning on 12 degrees by morning here, it is very frozen--here in New England. If you are from Arizona--you would not like it here. January is the worst, it could be below zero for a month. We are not looking forward to that. The heat is running constantly, we cook alot, it heats the house up. We go out less as it is too cold to get back home. Cheerio, enjoy what you have, its better than here, bbbbbbbbbbbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. cold...

I simply ADORE the sun... and live in an area where I don't get enough to

suit me in the summer!! We have overcast during the summer a lot here...

well this past summer from July 1st to Aug. 31st we only had 11 sunny

mornings!! The overcast makes me depressed. Honest to gosh RAIN I kinda

like, too, I can sit inside and read and occasionally look out at it. And snow

is wonderful, but of course I have to travel to get to that!!

I lived in Toronto in a year that recorded the least amount of sunshine for about 20 years. When the sun came out people actually SMILED and, oh my god, said HELLO to each other. I'd say it makes a difference. Doing exterior construction now and working seven days a week, sunshine sure makes a difference to my daily experience now. Then there's the vitamin D aspect. Need it. I did enjoy the snow one day while working. It was kind of bizarre and surreal for this time of year in Vancouver...and it doesn't get you soaked like rain.

Originally from Michigan, I moved to Arizona to get away from the long, cold, dreary winters. Now, I whine and complain about the long, hot, dry, summer. I got a real deal to offer; I'll take the Arizona winter and Michigan summer, you take the Michigan winter and Arizona summer. Since you get the maximum each has to offer, you can make up the difference by paying my living expense. The line starts here.:sneaky:

We need sun to be healthy. Vitamins D and A. 10 years ago I started working outddors, Landscaping. It made me feel very happy. Rainy days are an opportunity

to reflect.and maybe relax a little. Than be grateful when the sun comes out again

Bill, I *think* winter solstice is the 21st. Hang on, man...not much longer now and you can see daylight after work. (grin)

I like warm sunny days best. I love how the warmth makes your bones feel all melty. (like that made any sense!) I love the smell of fresh dirt, cut grass, and having lemonade while I daydream. The color of flowers, and the antics of pets brings a peaceful feeling. The sound of children laughing at the park nearby makes me grin.

I also enjoy rain...that's a good thing living in Oregon since it rains about 9 months a year. I like a cozy fire, hot tea, a good book with a blanket, or knitting while watching some old movie. I like getting wet outside and then coming in to have hot soup. It's like being mothered. :)

I like snow, too. Snowball fights, making angels, and teaching kids how to make snowmen, snow frogs, snow forts. Fun stuff!

I miss thunderstorms. We don't have too many out here. There's something immensely powerful about a good thunderstorm.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
