Sunglasses for the holiday

Post by A Karenina »

That's sweet :)

I just wear whatever I like, so I can't help much on what's the latest fashion. I'm still wearing dark glasses that remind me of cat eyes. LOL.

You could try a search at Froogle.com

Also, I would think that the mall would have a great sunglass shop, if you have one near you.

If you get snow in the winter where you are then sunglasses are a great idea. I've been snowblinded before and driven off the road. If she is going to wear them a lot then spend some money and get a nice pair that wont leave marks on the bridge of her nose or give her headaches. What is in style depends on what her style is. I've never gone for the "bug eyes" look to shades. Make sure they don't take over her face. Other than that it's a free for all. Go to a sunglasses store where there are lots of choices and expect to try on at least twenty pairs before you decide.

Make sure whatever you get has 100% UVA and UVB blocking.

You will almost never see me outside without mine, but they are several

years old so I can't say as to style. Something in the mid-range of a nice

oval would probably be best, not too narrow or too round. And beware of

too wide side pieces, if your wife will use them for driving, side pieces can

be considered illegal in some places!

Vuarnets used to be really good quality. Lot of people like Ray-Bans.

Some outdoor shops have them, but they all seem pricey, malls, too but

if you try just a drug store, you might not get as good of quality!!

Go To The Mall, or CVS, buy about 3 different pairs, if one pair is lost, then there is another? I have assorted eye wear...it is snowing here heavily? *******
