Walking along, singing a song

Post by fuzzywuzzy »

Going to put up some snap shots of my walks (decided to take the camera with me.)

Sorry I don't know how to make them smaller.

You'll just have to scroll them .

ABC Gippsland shared this to their facebook page this morning.

Then when I got back I went inside and by the time I came out again these dudes were sitting in the driveway. I startled them and they made off but not very far .

this one was at the crossroads of his life...ha ha ha ha ha. School bus was to come thorugh that intersection twenty minutes later. that would have woken old Dave up eh?

Keep walking and keep singing Fuzzy!

Great photos! Luv the one of the kangaroo in the road. That's not something you see in my neighborhood very often!

It's getting into the colder months now, so walking is becoming a little unpleasant.

I'm certainly finding out I have legs lol

I'm still walking...!

I walk at night - it's @ 88 degrees - it's still HOT.

We use a wet towel around our neck to try & stay cool.

Great pics

We have some Pelicans like that come through our region this time of year, on their way to Northern Canada for the summer. I have yet to get close enough to them for a good pic.

And 16 C hardly seems cold. Well for us, in Colorado, anyway.

We are getting into the high 80s F in the day, and mid 50s F at night. Heat off, windows open around the clock. I love this time of year.

Over a week ago we had some unseasonal weather . It's confused all the plants, they are beginning to bud again as if it's spring. Shortest day of hte year is coming up and we're all thinking what the ? It should be colder than 16c.........does it impress you we got 4 overnight? WITH MIST!!!! ...sigh ...seems I'll always have to wait for summer to impress you guys.

The pelicans there are residents, they don't fly away . (the fish washing table at the boat ramp means they are living the good life lol)

I think I'll have to change to midday. The new job means I'll have a spit shift, so no choice really .

I love walking at night in summer, the later the better. :)

I kinda know what you mean.

When we lived in Florida, winter would come, and the temp would be highs in the 50s and 60s, we would all be bundled up in sweaters and jackets, shivering, and our relatives would come down for a visit and want to go to the beach. !?!?!?!?!????

Are you kidding me? IT's !@$#!! COLD OUT THERE!!!! We would say.

But alas, they would insist, and call us wimps, and we would all go the beach. They would cavort in they bikinis, and we would stand there shivering.

Now, here in Colorado, on a balmy February day, when the highs might see 0, I think longingly of those cold days at the beach.
