Money saving plan?

Post by Bruv »

The 60-year-old Phoenix retiree uses a simple and unique way of making money literally return to his pocket: he hand-writes the following message on every dollar bill he uses : “Please return this bill to me, I am very poorfollowed by his home address.

Might be worth trying?

Not likely to work in this country - our lowest value not is about seven times the value of a dollar, people would be far less likely to oblige with a fiver.

Money saving plan?

I tell this story quite often..................

I popped into the pub to buy myself a quick pint and half an ounce of Old Holborn, it was the day after the budget.

I was embarrassed and shocked to find the fifty pence I proffered was insufficient to cover the bill.

Telling the story now makes me think it was a pound, surely a pint and a small packet of rolling tobacco must cost more than 50p.

But whatever................ things have gone up a blooming lot haven't they?

Apart from alcohol and ciggs, I think If you shop around, food Is actually cheaper than 20 years ago due to price wars.

It depends on how frightened you are. I clearly was very very scared at the prospect of gasping myself to an earlier death than I think I deserve.

It all hinged on one bad bad weekend...........not that I couldn't weaken anytime soon......no I will not.....I have had one or two admittedly, but just to prove to myself I don't want or need them.

Im not a born again non smoker though.......you carry on.....sucking that tar filled sh*te into one of your most forgiving organs.....until it says enough is enough and you gasp for each and every drop of life giving oxygen.

Well, now that the word is out, I can see this going viral, and pretty soon every dollar you see will have somebody's address on it.

Wonder if he reports any of that income on his tax returns.
