Dispatches Tonight

Watched Dispatches Channel 4 tonight "Children on the Frontline"

It was about the Syrian crisis and the kids.

Kids should never have to go through such things.

True - and even more so, the British government should never have backed the war :-(

There were several sequences that break your heart.

A young girl talking to camera jumps as the sound of a shell is heard, she says something along the lines that its a tank shell then changes her mind and says, so matter of fact, that it didn't explode.

Another scene a girl singing and dancing to camera relaxed and joyfully as only a kid can be when suddenly the shot is clouded as an explosion occurs only voices and blurred images as a voice asks "are you alright"

There were scenes where young girls were sitting talking on a balcony feet dangling through the bars, a shot makes them jump up and retreat into the flat.
