In my toybox was that narrow tube/box of pick-up stix. Did you play with them?

Lincoln Logs. Still have some from back when I was a kid. They have now been passed down to my great grandkids

I had a doll caled Margaret, which I didn't like...strange face and not at all cuddly. I'm still not keen on dolls. The modern ones are an improvement in looks and feel but I'm not sure of their point. I had a golliwog too. Didn't like him much either. I liked teddy bears and books.

I loved AA Milne...still got my original When we were very young and when we were six (titles probably misremembered).

Wherever I am, there's always Pooh,

There's always Pooh and Me.

Whatever I do, he wants to do,

"Where are you going today?" Says Pooh:

"Well that's very odd cos I was too."

King John was not a good man – He had his little ways.

And sometimes no one spoke to him For days and days and days.

And men who came across him, When walking in the town,

Gave him a supercilious stare, Or passed with noses in the air –

And bad King John stood dumbly there, Blushing beneath his crown

I had lots of dolls, the baby type doll that you change there clothes and give them a bottle. I also had a collection of Barbies and the clothes for them. I had a lot of dishes, cooking pot and pans and I used to get a little tea set most every year for Christmas..the glass kind. Funny thing is you can't even find those types of play tea sets anymore.
