Rhett played India Wilkes, the sister of Ashley Wilkes in the award-winning movie adaptation of Margaret Mitchell’s novel about the American Civil War.

There was no love lost between India Wilkes and Scarlett.

From what I've read of Alicia Rhett, she was a very gracious woman and an active patron of the arts/humanities while living a quietly productive life outside of Hollywood's limelight.

I was surprised when I saw her image that I recalled her part immediately. I think that GWTW has that effect on people who watched because if was such an awesome production.
