Happy Barkoween!

Post by Lady J »

Thought I would share some images from the Dog Park Costume Contest I just held....

An English Bulldog as Honey Boo Boo !

Kylee as a fish and her Owner in the sprit of Halloween!

Lots of fun....and we raised tons of supplies for the local Animal Control and Adoption Center!

Fabulous Wandrin, but I wonder how much the animals like it. Pets are such fun!

My dog wouldn't like anything on his face, but he wears his vest without a problem.

My dog doesn't take too well to dress up either.

Here is Chunk sporting his leather vest.

It was a fun event. I had four judges, award metals and donated prizes - some really nice ones! The registration fee was an item from the local County Animal Control and Adoption Center Wish List and the Dog Park Patrons were extremely generous. We received donations from Owners who were not even participating in the costume contest.

I had 13 dogs turn out in costume and some Owners. A lot of fun :wah:

Thank you Anne. Putting together something like this is a lot of work but well worth it when you see how "into it" the Owners are and how much fun everyone has.

Hopefully there will be a second annual costume contest!
