Saw this somewhere on the Internet. I don't go on Facebook so perhaps someone who does so regularly can say if this is accurate on not ...

THERE ARE 12 TYPES OF PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK

….. we all have one of each of these types of friends on our list:

1) The “Rooster” – Feels that it is their job to tell Facebook “Good Morning” every day.

2) The “Lurker” – Never posts or comments on your post, but reads everything, and might make reference to your status if they see you in public.

3) The “Hyena” – Doesn’t ever really say anything, just LOLs and LMAOs at everything.

4) “Mr/Ms Popular” – Has 4,367 friends for NO reason

5) The “Gamer” – Plays Words With Friends, Mafia Wars, Bakes virtual cakes and stuff, etc., (ALL DAY.)

6) The “Cynic” – Hates their life, and everything in it, as evidenced by the sombre tone in ALL of their status updates.

7) The “Collector” – Never posts anything either, but joins every group and becomes fans of the most random stuff.

8) The “Promoter” – Always sends event invitations to things that you ultimately delete or ignore.

9) The “Liker” – Never actually says anything, but always clicks the “like” button

10) “Drama Queen/ King” – This person always posts stuff like “I can’t believe this!”, or “They gonna make me snap today!”, in the hopes that you will ask what happened, or what’s wrong…but then they never finish telling the story.

11) The “News” – Always updates you on what they are doing and who they are doing it with, no matter how arbitrary, and Lastly….

12) The “Thief” – Steals status updates…

3) The Hyena Doesnt ever really say anything, just LOLs and LMAOs at everything. Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably find It's the only language they understand.

4) Mr/Ms Popular Has 4,367 friends for NO reason Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably soooo wish they had friends of their own.

5) The Gamer Plays Words With Friends, Mafia Wars, Bakes virtual cakes and stuff, etc., (ALL DAY.) Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably wish they had the brain capacity to get beyond level 3

6) The Cynic Hates their life, and everything in it, as evidenced by the sombre tone in ALL of their status updates. Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably wish they had a life to comment on.

7) The Collector Never posts anything either, but joins every group and becomes fans of the most random stuff. Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably have had their arsse banned by every group they've joined.

8) The Promoter Always sends event invitations to things that you ultimately delete or ignore. Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably wish they were sent Invites.

9) The Liker Never actually says anything, but always clicks the like button Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably wish they had enough friends to be able to click like.

10) Drama Queen/ King This person always posts stuff like I cant believe this!, or They gonna make me snap today!, in the hopes that you will ask what happened, or whats wrongbut then they never finish telling the story. Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably wish they had enough friendswish they had enough friends who actually give a stuff about them.

11) The News Always updates you on what they are doing and who they are doing it with, no matter how arbitrary, and Lastly. Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably wish they had some kind of life worth sharing,

12) The Thief Steals status updates Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably scanning the Internet all day looking for anything to make themselves look popular and Interesting on forums.

Those who critisize Facebook users Invariably re-hash other members threads where there's been a spat In a futile attempt to win friends and gain some attention. ....

Hihi! I had one of each on my old facebook, which i have now closed, as it was peeing me off.. Opened a new one, only family and best friend on there, more so I can stay in with family abroad

And what's even more interesting is not one person has criticized anyone on FB ...so mute point in the end. what JJ has just put up in hte OP has been around on FB for a very long time . Most people I know think it's funny .
