Breaking Bad

Post by flopstock »

Did anyone watch it? It's all anyone was talking about at work today and I never watched it once.

My older kids are disappointed in me... Then again, they are still disapointed I never watched Jaws.

It's probably the most tightly written show/movie I've ever seen. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing and I can't recall one dangling plot point. In addition, the character development was incredible, the acting was top of the line and it was a fascinating subject. However, if you're not into violence of any kind, this isn't the show for you.

I've heard about it through the years, mostly what Snooze says about it. I watched the end of the finale. That's how I started watching the Sopranos, by seeing the last few moments of the end. So, I think I will end up watching all of Breaking Bad from the beginning now, carrying on my tradition!

What surprises me flop, is how after all these years you have managed to avoid Jaws! Incredible! You Go Girl! You're an asset against Pop Culture!

What are these Jaws of which you speak?

All these years I thought that was an advert for cat food. There are entire areas of modern culture which have passed me by.

I've never sat through a slasher movie, the exorcist, the nightmare movies, poltergist or any of them. Oh nor Titanic.

I won't watch slasher movies, i.e. Chainsaw Massacre types & I hate Zombies.

Both of my older kids watched it and most of their friends were commenting on it too. the acting was supposed to be spectacular. I just managed to not turn it on even when I saw all of this discussion going on.

I won't watch Honey BooBoo or Dance moms either...:wah:

It's funny, I started watching a Walking Dead marathon one saturday until they killed someone I liked. :lips:

I just don't care to watch stuff to feel sad.

I CAN'T watch Honey BooBoo or Dance Moms. My stomach churns. I can, although very rarely, watch Kartrashian people.

No one believes me when I say I've never seen a Godfather or Rocky movie. Can't stand horror films either .
