New Doctor Who: Peter Capaldi is revealed as the twelfth Time Lord | Mail Online

Peter Capaldi Is one of my favourite actors of all time.

He was nothing short of brilliant as Malcolm Tucker In ' The Thick Of It', a political sit come. He also played a consultant In Jo Brand's brilliant ' Getting On'.

WARNING.... CONTAINS EXTREME FOUL LANGUAGE AND NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED.

This Is your new Dr Who In the role of Malcolm In ' The Thick Of It. '

best of malcolm tucker - YouTube

I am thrilled he got the part.

I'm happy about it too, I like a more mature doctor after the last two hyperactive goofballs we had.

"The Pets in Our Lives" is an odd forum to put Dr Who. Unless your talking about K9

That's all I CAN see now since everyone is posting clips from that show.

You do realise he is acting a part don't you? I've worked in environments where every second word was a swearword so much a part of the language that it's not really swearing. I know gordon ramsay does it as well but in real life in scotland swearing in like that is frowned upon and in mixed company is a big no no.

You mean he's just acting ??? Really ??

Errrr we are aware of that on account of him winning a BAFTA for the part. Unlike Snooze and myself laughing out tits off at someone on facebook writing " Well, I hope he doesn't behave like that In Dr Who because children watch It "

There are many shows now where there Is an awful amount of swearing and I don't find them funny. I think Gordon Ramsey Is a vile arrogant self serving pig. In his case, the swearing Is not funny nor clever but It's the only thing that's kept him on TV.

The part played by Peter Capaldi In ' The Thick Of It' Is different. He plays the part of a spin doctor to a member of parliament where everyone Involved Is calm, polite and typically English. Most of the series Is other characters being appalled by his language and threatening behaviour and It's that which makes It funny.

Although the part of Malcolm was based on a typical Glaswegian office worker, although they are usually women.
