Oh, I'm sooo happy for the Queen!! Love the pic of her stroking her horse.
See, no matter WHO you are, you can love horses and get excited when you win!
Her outfit was very pretty.

We had a documentary on here very recently which was a behind the scene's fly on the wall look at the Queen and her horses. She has an absolute magical quality with them but totally gets their physche.
There was one moment where they brought the new foals of the year out to meet her and In them was two very spooked out and unmanagable young colts. The way she went over to them and made contact with them was quite awe Inspiring. in fact, she's just hired some American guy to break them In.
Any race meeting she's at, she has to go down to the paddocks and touch them, talk to the grooms etc about their bloodline.
Yes, her face shows her as the owner of the Gold Cup winner... and not the monarch.

I think I've mentioned this on here before, but I am a great
admirer of the Queen's horsemanship, ever since I saw her
in that trooping of the colour parade, when the shots went
off and she SAT her mount... sidesaddle no less! Pretty
amazing woman, and more to her than perhaps meets the eye?
Do you have a link to that documentary by any chance?
