What outrageous reporting. he didn't die after a fight, he was attacked.

I read the entire article and see nothing wrong with it. It makes it perfectly clear that the youth was attacked.

If the headline read "Police fear new riots after white youth dies from vicious attack by gang of Asian youths" there would be hell to pay at the Mail because there might be a stronger reaction from the populace. The headline is deliberately softened, a compromise in order to avoid conflict is my guess. I do sincerely believe these guys were targeted because they were in the wrong place while being white.

You know there are riots taking place all over europe and now south america as people start to protest about austerity measures and the behaviours of those in power who have ruined many people's lives without facing consequences for their actions and all your pathetic bunch of right wing nut jobs can do is bang on about something that really has very little to do with the state of things as they are - OK might be a symptom of the problem but let's face it it wasn't immigration that destroyed all the manufacturing jobs in this country was it or benefit scroungers that are making us bankrupt. Yet you take great delight in the prospect of a bunch of racist thugs rioting on the streets. It's pathetic.

Scrat, I could sit here for a week loading youtube clips of Asian attacks on whites.

They are either not reported or they are dumbed down In the media. Very often when they are reported, they say ' he was In the wrong place'... that should ring alarm bells to most but middle England Ignores the very unsavoury hint that ' being In the wrong place' Is actually being In your own town In your own country.

We have it here also, just a few weeks ago a 15 girl was gunned down on the street as she walked with her friends. I know where it was, one of the poorer neighborhoods north of Seattle and frankly if you're white and on this particular avenue there's a very good chance you're taking your life into your own hands. The media is wringing it for all the tears its worth but not asking any hard questions and the cops are downright terrified.

GMC, you make a very good point. I wonder if a healthier economy would make a difference though.

If you're working and feeling good about life it's easier to be tolerant of others. Worry and a sense of injustice looks for a target.
