I don't know why but I thought he'd already been executed. Why did It take 24 years on death row ? Why the wait ?

They probably filed a bunch of appeals over the years telling about his mother's exposure to chemicals while he was in vitro, his head injury as a child, blah blah...

There have been many reasons over the years, the latest outrage:
