This Is not the first video on youtube of EDL demo's that Americans have made In the past few weeks,

Questions

Why the sudden Interest?

Why the EDL and not the BNP?

Why think It's groovy to dub some half Illiterate badass rapper to the footage?

Why the failure to understand that the ring of police around the EDL yesterday was not Illegal detainment but a wall of protection from the UAF hurling missiles?

And finally, what do they hope to achieve?

I haven't figured out why some Americans do anything, yet.

We have our share of nutcases, that's for certain.

There's plenty of people here who would love the see the muslims booted out of this country.

Me, I have friends who are Muslim, and all they want to do is feed their kids and get along with their neighbors.

They left their country to get away from the Islamic whackos.

Though it looks like your gumment been to easy on these folks.

There should be one Law of the Land, and it should apply to everybody equally.

Folks who don't like that ought to be shipped to someplace like Somalia where they can make their own laws, or die trying.

I was changing channels & saw that interview--Robinson on O'Reilly. Europe is just not set up for integration like the U.S. I thought it amusing when Tommy said EDL has a "gay division", a "jewish division" & so forth. Just keep it white.

What he meant was, that there were Sikh's, Hindu's , gays etc. He was making the point that the EDL was not racist as dubbed by the British Government.

There are Sikh and Hindu supporters of the EDL... I go to the sites now and then for a read.

Europe is so homogeneous, & each country within Europe is also homogeneous. They are used to their own individual ways of doing things, & are less open to changing things.

i.e. When I was at Oxford, there was one small supermarket. I did some of my shopping at a traditional English mom & pop grocery. The hours were ridiculous---they opened at around 9 or 10AM, closed(!) an hour or so for lunch, reopened only to close for the night around 5PM. You had to tell, or give a list, to the person behind the counter, who would get your stuff. The Pakistanis' began to move in. Opened a convenience store, which was barely ever closed, you got your own stuff. My mom & pop went berserk! So angry, even the new patrons of the Paki store were angry!

I would explain, "well, that's what you get for having an Empire & giving out British passports"!! But the native populace, at the time, were very unsettled by this change, so imagine more people & more change, especially immigrants who refuse your way of life completely.

Here, NY especially, when someone won't change, it almost doesn't matter, they just find a place in the Crazy Quilt that is America.

There are not many English owned convenience stores anywhere in the UK, most are now Asian owned.

Many are ex Ugandans who arrived penniless, thrown out by Idi Amin.

The corner shop is now known in the UK as the paki shop, although not to their faces, and not among the PC brigade. Also many Chemists/Pharmacies are Asian owned too. The national favourite takeaway food is Curry, Indian and Pakistani businesses are now a cornerstone of Englishness, although they keep very much to themselves.

West Indians are wll established in the country, starting in large towns when first arriving to run the Underground, Buses and National Health service they are widely accepted and becoming more intergrated, many families have a black member somewhere.

Bruv, the last time I was in England was almost 35(!!!!!) years ago. The English store keepers appeared downright lazy next to their Asian counterparts. I don't mean this as a condemnation, I actually found the slower pace quite pleasing & better suited for a laid-back person such as myself. But the Asians were all about work & consequently made more money & made it faster too. I remember my mom & pop despising this type of competition & didn't know how to win back customers & were not willing to put in the hours or changes necessary. So, they cursed the Pakis instead.

I know of two asian take over of shops in my time in the town I now live.

I remember both as having counters just inside the shop door with all the goods behind the counter, that was the traditional way of serving your customers.

I remember them changing hands and renovation taking place, opening them up to be little super markets, with cavernous interiors compared to before. Super markets were the new way to sell back then, much more efficient and cost affective.

The English were not so much lazy as old fashioned, stuck in their ways, selling just to support their needs as they had always done. Shut on Sundays and Wednesdays, and closed as everybody came home from their own jobs.

The Asians spotted the gap in the market, lowered prices, kept open longer with Dad and Mum during the day, sons and daughter in the evenings, stocking everything you might ever need and being there when you needed it.

The term Paki is used as the N word is used, not nice at all.

Now we have Polish and Eastern European shops too selling to the newly arrived migrant workers.

That doesn't really explain why Paki is considered so insulting, as Anne said, it's just a shortened version of their country's name. I doubt a Mexican would be offended if you called them a Mex (although I've never heard it done.)

It is normally used with the added term for an illegitimate person (Think I put that nicely enough)

I forgot to mention the growth of Gurhka shops springing up too.

It's about intent. The word Paki is used, as is the word ******, as a deliberately offensive, all encompassing word to denigrate and abuse anybody who is Asian, whether they are Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan et al.

Made popular in the 70's with the skinheads and National Front who both embraced the pastime of "Paki bashing" Order of the day in graffiti art then was "Pakis go home".

We talk about other countries being dictatorships and patting ourselves on the back for being democratic but we are not all the time the media distort and silence one third of the population.

You take the grooming scandals. Police have now admitted that they have up to 57 Muslim trials coming to trial over the next ten years Involving over 10,000 white children.

But hey, Instead of listening to the people who turned to Nick Griffin for help 4 years ago, let's Instead follow him 24/7 costing the tax payer millions just In case he slips up and says something racist, because that will make It all go away eh?

Instead of listening to Channel 4 and the footage they recorded of Iman's In some Mosques beating young Muslim kids, let's brand them racist and try to get an Injunction stopping the airing of the documentary, because that will make It all go away eh?

At the BNP Woolwich protest, there were 57 arrests. Not one BNP arrest. All were UAF funded by David Cameron.

Let them speak. Give them air time so the public can make their own minds up.

And while we are silencing one third of the electorate, let's also silence those who speak up about the 27 Labour Councillors convicted of child abuse. That will make It all go away eh?

The point I was trying to make was you complained about the BBC not allowing Robinson airtime, and then you posted his interview with Andrew Neil.

Airtime is granted pro rata on the amount of prospective candidates per party..............I thought.

UKIP and BNP have elected representatives, the EDL UAF and the other sequences of letter groups are not up for the publics vote, they are action groups,agitators, with lots of answers but not a lot of organisation.

The problem you are complaining about is the same as we have all winged about, more people vote against the ruling party most every time, that is the of our flavour political system, first past the post.

Ranting about it on the street wont change it, getting yourself elected might.

Robinson has received most of his air time since the death of Lee Rigby but strangely, they have given him air time and not Griffin as per usual. Although that may be something to do with the large EDL marches that have taken place In the past few weeks.

Supporting and funding are two different things.

Cameron is not on the founding signatories list, unless I missed his name.
