if You Think The Titanic Was A Big Ship
My cousin works for that company, pretty sure he's been on that ship too. Will ask him how many lifeboats it has next time I see him. Might be a while though, he seems to be spending a lot of time moving around this year.

I've a feeling that might be Photoshopped - I don't think they we ever afloat at the same time

Duh!! Of course it was Photoshopped. The Titanic is still at the bottom of the sea. THE POINT of the post is the size comparison.

The Allure wasn't afloat in 1912 but the photo's real, it's just not the Titanic. That's the Allure and the Titanic's sister ship the Olympia, taken as they passed under the Severn Crossing on their way to Sharpness Lock in 1940. You can tell it's wartime because the Allure's painted in naval camouflage. Along the sides to avoid torpedoing. Difficult to see from that angle.

We will be taking another cruise probably in November this year. Much prefer the smaller ships though --- 100 to 150 people --- instead of the huge 3,000 passenger ships like the Allure.
