Wonder if they will serve any of those special "meat" pies at the ceremony - you've seen the statue now eat his relative.

He was so horrifically Injured. I remember the national newspapers reporting on his progress and even the country's children sending him gifts of mints In the post. He became a national hero In many ways because he survived the IRA's worst. I think at the time the entire country was willing him to live....

I will never forget him and he deserves the beautiful statue.
