Holi - Festival of Colors

Is anyone here familiar with this Hindu religious ritual or been fortunate enough to attend one of the festivals? I first heard of this last year and was reminded of it today when I saw this article. The photographs are a spectacle of color and high spirits seem to prevail over the whole pageant! Gorgeous!

We see diwali, the festival of lights, celibrated every year but this is a new one to me.

I'll watch out for it on the 27th - it looks like fun
