What a coincidence ... I had pre-ordered the book by Amity Shlaes that he mentions in the article from Amazon around Christmas time and I think it was actually released a few days ago.
I fell prey to the old ... "If you like this ... then you'll love this ..." ploy of theirs. I had bought some "Darn Tough" socks and according to Amazon, the next logical step was to order a biography on Calvin Coolidge. Probably because he's from Vermont like the socks. Those keywords bring up some interesting recommendations! Anyway, I read the description and it looked interesting. He and Grace were polar opposites in outward demeanor but were a perfect pair.
I'm no expert on his politics but I'm hoping it will be a good read.

Ya know what, I am a long time fan of George Will, and know he is a fan of Calvin.
Don't remember Will recommding a book of Coolidge, I will certainly get that book.
