We have a new baby in our family.....

My beloved niece Karen had a baby on September 4th, 2011, and I'm finally able to travel up north to see Karen and her lovely, wee girl named Katherine. She was named after my great grandmother, grandmother, mother, and me. My family is absolutely thrilled and delighted !!!!!!!!!!!

Oh dear, she is going to be spoiled rotten, I'd say. I'm already looking in the Irish catalogs for baby clothes and Irish sweaters...Hahaha....

I can't believe that our wee Katherine is 10 months old today. It felt like only yesterday that I posted her birth pictures. Jaysus, where does the time go...oy vey.

She went to the pool this week and actually stood up by herself and stayed upright. She's ready to begin walking. She was also placed in a new float that has a seat. She ran around in the kiddy pool in the new float with no fears.

Onto the beach next week. She'll become a beach bum like the rest of my family

I guess you can tell that her father dressed her today before taking her to the restaurant. Don't ya just love her new hairdo.....Hahaha....

Thanks Bryn and Annie...I just love this pic. Katherine's dad is just a funny guy and sees the humor in everything. I can just imagine him trying to put her hair in pig tails and letting her dress herself....gaffaw....I'm sure she's wearing the same outfit for the last 3 days...
