Golf - any golfers here?

Post by Patsy Warnick »

Phil M. had a amazing round of golf yesterday

I believe the tourn. is in Phoenix AZ

Phil nearly ended the round of golf under 60.

What's the best round of golf you've had?

My husband is a good golfer - his best is 68

I believe the tourn. continues today.?

I love to golf. I don't golf near as much as i'd like to anymore. Best round 80. I'm just a weekend hack. My oldest son is very good though. I think his best is around a 70. drives me crazy to lose to him.

80 that's a good score.

your son gives you competition - challenge

Are you watching the tourn?

I'm sure there will be highlights of Phil where the ball circled the cup - just a great shot.

I enjoy watching him

Not watching the tourny, at work. Phil has always been my favorite. Never was a Tiger fan. I watch all the majors pretty close. Rory is a lot of fun to watch as well as some of the new younger golfers.

you'd appreciate this - one year my husband was drawn for the Masters

it's the luck of the draw - lottery type.

Met Jack N. - he signed a golf poster we had.

One year - not sure of the tourn - we met Chi Chi R. - he put me in his golf cart & I got to ride around the tourney with him - it was a blast..

It was way cool - Lee T. was there - it was a tourn for the good oldies

Chi Chi is such a character anyway - he's always in rare form..

alot of fun.

I don't golf - probably never will - I call it fetch

of course I didn't tell Chi Chi - I acted like I knew & was interested with all aspects of the game:wah:

I do enjoy watching - some players swing so smooth & natural form like butter

and some chop or swing like they're holding a baseball bat.

I'm not a Tiger fan - never really was - and it has nothing to do with his personal life.

There's that young player - Bo Bo or what's his name can't think of it? won the Masters.

He's fun to watch - oh, there's many young good players

I like Golf, though not good enough to take it too seriously. It's hard to find folks to play with. Most of the guys around here are far too serious.

I am happy if I come in under 100.

My best is 72, one fine day at Pinehurst. I followed that up with an equally astounding 102 the next day.

I do like to watch the tourneys, though been tied up with work this last week or so.

My husband has trouble finding golfers (good) for he needs the challenge.

He had hoped to be on the Senior Tour..? is that right? Not sure if I have that title right.? He's golfed since he was @ 9 yrs. old - and has golfed all over the US.

We had the opportunity to visit the "Shark" in Florida.

Question:

Masters are about to start - which I enjoy watching

How do they decide Pairing

is it a draw out of a hat system?

I hope the kid can stand up to the pressure the media will lay on him, and stick to his game.

That would keep all the old farts on their toes, for sure.

Lars

I hope he does well also

He doesn't seem to be intimidated by the attention.

He has to be proud just to be around the Green Jacket.

I think we'll see alot of him in the future.
