PROBLEMS TO KEEP fLOPSTOCK BUSY

Post by chrisb84uk »

Hmm okay here are a few more:

1) The one who makes it sells it.

The one who buys it doesn't use it.

The one who's using it doesn't know he's using it.

What is it?

2) A horse is tied to a 15 ft. rope and there is a bail of hay 25 ft. away from him. Yet the horse is able to eat from the bail of hay. How is this possible?

3) A man walks into a bar and asks for a glass of water. The bartender pulls out a shotgun and points it at him. The man says, thank you and leaves. Why?

4) From house to house he goes,

A messenger small and slight.

And whether it rains or snows,

He sleeps outside at night.

What am I?

The other end of the rope isn't tied to anything.

The hard part about making up an original one is that someone always comes up with a correct answer you hadn't thought of.

Through the "no roof?"

He left through the doorway, since there was no door to block it.

Okay I have more if these get answered but here we go for now: :)

Easy - What begins with T, ends in T, and has T in it?

Normal - What object has keys that open no locks, space but no room, and you can enter but not go in?

Hard - A word I know, six letters it contains. Subtract just one, and twelve is what remains. What is the word?

A magician was boasting one day at how long he could hold his breath under water. His record was 6 minutes. A kid that was listening said, "that's nothing, I can stay under water for 10 minutes using no types of equipment or air pockets!" The magician told the kid if he could do that, he'd give him $10,000. The kid did it and won the money. Can you figure out how?

In a major league baseball game, a pitcher faced only 27 batters. Every batter he faced, he struck out. He allowed no hits and no runs, yet his team lost 4-0. How could this be?

Ok here's another:

Three kids went for a walk. About a mile into the walk, they came to a deep, wide river. There was no bridge. They didn't have a boat or raft, or any materials to make one. None of them could swim.

How did they cross the river?
