New Year Resolutions

Post by Lady J »

Do any of you still make them?

If so what do you vow yourself to do or not to do?

If you don't make any ~~~ why not?

Moi? I would pick #1.....except I have no family left (accept my sister who lives far away) and most of my friends are far away. Sigh ~~~ reckon I could make some new friends who are closer.

#5 definitively as I do nothing but work, work, work! I am ready for a vacation to the islands!!!! Swim with the dolphins, snorkel with the sting rays and make love with my lover under the moon lite!

#8 I am thinking about taking a course in photography at the local community college. All of my photo skills are self taught and I would luv to learn new things! I really enjoy learning new stuff.....perhaps a course in creative writing or maybe a class in self defense!

Very good resolutions.

I really do not make them, always want to improve my life. But if I listed some:

1. More time with family, means more trips to take which is a hard logistics now.

2. Less stress over school, start to mellow down to 4-5 years from now retirement.

3. Finishing cleaning out stuff from the house redo.

4. Working on kung fu, see how far I get this year. I want one more black belt, this is a several years goal.

5. More music, and more music. I have several things in the works to take it up a notch, will know in Februrary. It is the time I need to practice more, which is easy during vacation time. I love hours of just playing music. I had missed playing my violin and now am back in the swing of things again.

Happy New Years to all.

I initially read this as being YOUR top 10 resolutions for this year, was sat here thinking WOW :wah:

I don't really do resolutions, never seen the point as most people break them before January is out.

I have made some affirmations for this year, statements of how things are going to change.
