Interesting article on advertising & the color pink! It doesn't bother me that some everyday products are labeled "For Ladies" and given a pink tone ... it's just advertising after all and I think most people tend to read between the lines with it. Maybe some women like pink just for pink's sake without the ultra femininity or submissive role playing that advertising assigns to it.

Do you think buying a pack of pastel colored Bic pens makes a woman a sucker for clever (or not so clever) advertising or do you think she may just buy them simply because she happens to like pastel colors? If they took the words "For Her" off the front, we'd know for sure!
