I would imagine they have enough to go on before asking such a question.
Of course we don't know what is happening behind the scenes, but I find it sinister that mainly deceased people's names have been put forward, presumably when enough names have been brought forward the story will have died down some.

I can only guess but guessing, I would say the same as the Savile case. Abused people especially when the abuser Is a famous celebrity, star or priest feel they will never be believed. When they see others come forward, they feel safety In numbers and feel safer when the abuser Is dead because the abuser no longer has a pyscological power over them.
