When the children were young, Mr Langridge remained in touch with the mother, and saw the girls at social events.

He said he was surprised when introduced as their father and later advised the children to ask their mother to explain the facts of their birth.

If he had been an anon donor, I'd have some sympathy but he's had contact with them and they know each other. He should pay up.

No joke. Next time you feel like doing an act of kindness, offer to drive them to the adoption agency.

Having adopted children In my family, I know that there comes a day where every child wants to know where they came from and from who. There will come a day In this mans daughters lives If not already where they will want to meet him and even Introduce him to his new grandchildren.

It's very difficult with children born of anon donors because they never have that closure but In this case the man has the luxury of knowing his children and them knowing him... for that he needs to cough up.

If the lesbian couple had been legally married they would be pursuing the partner and not him. If she had legally adopted them she would also still be liable, arguable the csa have a case against her. . The CSA are a bunch of tosspots that can't get money from fathers that should be paying

The CSA said that if Mr Langridge had used an official sperm donation centre he would not have to pay child support – but informal arrangements are not covered by the law.

They have also been very good at ignoring court made arrangements when it suits them knowing full well mosts people can't afford to take them on. It is blackmail

This Is the CSA for you....

My neighbour Is owed £9,000 from a feckless Father who has never worked and never paid a penny toward his children..

The boy gets to 15 years old and falls out with his Mother, my neighbour, going off In a huff to live with the out of work, feckless father.

My neighbour then gets Informed she must pay £32 per week to the CSA for her boy now living with his Father.

She says ' OK take It out of the £9,000 he owes me...... They say, No can do... It's a seperate claim...... she refuses to pay.... CSA garnish her wages.... you couldn't make It up but In this case, The guy should cough up,

Can we all agree that it matters ZERO whether or not he is gay? I'm sure my opinion would be the same if the sperm donor preferred to have sexual relations with plastic yard art.

It doesn't matter that him or the couple were gay.... I just believe that he's had contact with the children and they know he's the Father so he should pay,

Uk law means that two women who have had fertility treatment can now both be named on the babies birth certificate but I think the difference here Is that the sperm donor although not on the birth certificate has made himself known to the children and they know him as their Father.

Children can now have two lesbian mothers and no father on birth certificate - Telegraph

So far as I'm concerned, if there are two parents named on the birth certificate, those are the responsible parties.
