HELLOOOOO to everyone once again. Did anyone miss me whilst I have been gone for a week??? (hope so

)

Anyway in case anyone has been worrying about little old me (doubtful) I'm happy to report that I'm fine. Though as you may have guessed I have had one heck of a week, well from my point of view anyway.

Well I can't exactly remember any chronological order of my week, so I'll just stick it all down as it comes to me!!

1) I got a phone call from a lady at the Fire Station in town relating to my job interview, that was scheduled for tommorow (Friday) but they now have had to change it to next Friday. Well ok I thought no big deal, until I get another phone call telling me that that interview date had also been changed (I still wouldn't get a reason why!) until the week after. Cleverly that just happens to co-inside with a little get togther I was planning with some old school friends, so that made me a tad annoyed.

2) We recently bought a new pc and laptop, and my dad being my dad asked me to set it all up. Well after numerous problems and even several things being missing from the boxes, we get it all up and running. However, the Internet was a different kettle of fish all together. Not only would it not work, but some strange occurance happened that stopped us from going on our older PC as well. :-5 Now we use that PC a heck of a lot for a whole host of things, so by now we are getting a little worried. After large numbers of phone calls, (of which most had the worst customer service people on the other end!!) we finally discovered the problem and hurrah we got back on-line.

3) Undoubtedly far worser than all that my dad got a phone call from his brother who lives in Ireland, saying that his dad, (who has been quite ill lately) was struggling quite a lot at the moment. Now my dad wanted to go see him, and being free I desperately wanted to go with him. So we went off for just the 2 days, to check up on him, and I'm happy to report that he is now a lot better and back to his usual perky self.

Ahhhh ok sorry that was long, but had to get it all of my chest. Anyhow I'm gonna go back to reading the 500 or so new posts since then, (you busy busy people!) and I shall look forward to chatting and catching up on news with all you lovely, lovely people!

Glad to see you back, Chris. Rather disappointed that it wasn't work keeping you away, but you still have the fish on the line, eh? Or is it the other way round?

Glad to hear your grand dad is okay. How old is he?

Yeah I had a feeling that some people may assume my absence to be due to work, but alas sadly not the case yet. Though I have applied for a few more basic receptionist kind of jobs, so I'm sure that something good will come as a result!!

My grandad is in his early 80's, and despite his age is one of the most active old folks u are ever likely to see. My dad and grandma keep telling him to calm down, and takes things at a slower pace, but nope not my grandad. He just has to walk down to the shops everyday and get his newspaper, even though others offer to do it for him. Thankfully though he got over his recent illness. Don't believe it was anything major, and as long as he keeps taking his medication should be fine in no time.

I've just finished going through the whole of Bothwell's new posts, and have now only got about 150 new posts to get through, woo hoo!!

Ah you guys are soooo kind with your nice welcome back messages. Must admit I was surprised that so many people had noticed I was gone, so all these messages are very nice indeed.

Oh and to answer your question flop, it's just a getting older thing, but as I mentioned he's a little too active at the moment, and could quite easily go and hurt himself. But when we left he seemed to be fine and getting well after his illness, and hopefully won't go and do anything silly.
