If I watch it correctly all I know with allmost certainty is that the Illuminati fought royalty and church control over society.

They had the ideals of equality and reason, instead of classes and superstition.

They helped write down the french constitution which was a basis for the US constitution. It is all about ELF, egalité, liberté, fraternité.

Or equality, freedom and solidarity.

No kings, barons or religious folk who say they have a direct connection with God will rule man. Man needs freedom and reason so he can prosper.
