I was so convinced we couldn't make up that deficit, I didn't watch any of it. At 11.30 last night I signed out of my email and was presented with an MSN headline "Europe retain the Ryder Cup" and thought I'd been transported back a year. I was compelled to watch the highlights until gone 1.00 in the morning.
