Frankly, this sounds like an excuse for men to continue not to listen, but, you be the judge: hooey, or realsitic?

Need to get the hip boots out to wade through that load of crap! I deal with many male customers at our auto repair facility and they sure don't have a problem hearing a word I say! Neither does my husband.

I do try to listen to my wife most of the time. Perhpas is she did not complain so much. I love her and her complaining is my only complaint against her. Life must be so rough being a woman to be constantly worrying about things that don't matter.

My wife is all upset that some co-workers think we need to add fruit to the babies oatmeal. We tried rice cerial and he pukes it up. It also says you have to try 10 to 15 times before they take up to eating it.

I do sometimes "brain fade" on her. The music theory would explain this.

Hooey!!

If men listen, but with only half their brain, does that mean they're half-wits?

Men use a different aural process? Makes them sound like cavemen. They can process: "MMMM, beer good", "Sex, yes", etc., but not "Honey could you take out the garbage?", or even, "I think (whoever) should be elected to office because...."

Seriously, I don't think all men are like that, but my theory of the ones that are, is that they, consciously or sub-consciously, buy into the male superiority thing. They plainly do not think women are worth listening to----unless she's offering to make his socks go up and down.

i don't listen to many people (male or female) cause most people talk so much sh*t i assume what i'm listening to follows suit. (i.e. "have you seen the new [ipod/trainers/crappy pop video]" or "the weather's bad today" or anything else i couldn't care about - 99% of things) i've heard so much of this type of b*llsh*t i've stopped speaking to most people for fear of dropping my iq level.

Hmmm....so posting on forums is a waste of time?

I'm curious, Colony. Are you a workaholic? And if I may, what do you do for fun?

i party, game online and travel in my spare time. i enjoy almost everything. my work is my hobby too cause i love technology

anyone who's met me should feel glad i've even been stationary long enough to meet me. time is the most valuable thing in the universe cause it cannot be replaced, only used. 5 mins till i go home now and 46 hours till my next party.

No problem Bez. :yh_bigsmi

It's an aggravating necessity to learn some of that stuff. I rarely use it though, it makes me feel like I sound about 14. WTF is about the only one I use.

I guessed it prolly might mean probably but it doesn't sound right. I think probly or prbly would be more appropriate. But then I don't make up the abbreviations (or should that be abreatns.
