Bondage and Canadian Law Enforcement

Post by koan »

We've got two cases in the news lately in Canada. A judge under investigation for bondage pics posted on a porn site by her husband and used to try enticing a client of his to have group sex with them (she and her hubby both lawyers at the time) and an RCMP officer who launched a full scale raid on public funds against a man who complained because the RCMP dude posted bondage pics on a porn site.

I think the judge was a victim of an unhealthy husband and the RCMP officer is just guilty as hell. But... wow, two bondage/porn cases in a short time? And both by people trusted with upholding public standards? It's a black moment for Canadians who think porn is a bad thing... or think S&M is bad behaviour.

What was he doing looking at bondage websites in the first place? OK you can stumble across them but most people would look at something else unless it was a subject matter that was of interest to them in the first place.

What people do in their private life is their own affair although as a judge they should be a bit careful.

I like bondage... you can tie a bloke to the bed, nick his wallet and go shopping.

:yh_rotfl I was going to be rude and say were you that ugly you had to tie them down so they couldn't escape but that would be unkind and not funny at all.

The judge didn't even know her pictures were online until her husband got sued. He'd been trying to lure someone to their house with the photos. She'd also told them about the incident when being assessed for appointment and it was believed all pics were offline. The prosecutor quitting is significant.

The RCMP officer isn't "guilty" for having pics online, his problem is that the police force was used to harass someone who complained about him.

I know this is not a thread to mention bible but Isaiah 3 is in my opinion how God pours his wrath on the earth before the end to lead to our downfall :-3.

Go read the first half the chapter then think about this post .

You're right. It's not a thread to mention the bible.

Give oscar the benefit of the doubt, she knows better than you. Nobody I can think of is more suitably destined for the fiery pit than she is. Satan's been leading her by the hand ever since she joined this site. She probably makes him sandwiches.

My one foray into the realm of humour this week fell flat, it appears.

Never mind, either way suits me.
