I don't know where Spot gets ' bad-tempered' from. Or even self publicist.
It was Sid Vicious who was the bad tempered violent member of The Sex Pistols not John Lydon. In fact, Lydon was actually, during the 70's the more articulate member of all of them and the shyest and most quiet.
The Self publicist was not Lydon but In fact Macolm McClaren, the bands promotor and manager. Lydon was nothing but a puppet of a manufactured band deliberately designed by McClaren at the time to rock the establishment. Hence McClaren's Sex Pistols song 'God Save The Queen'.
Since the Sex Pistols days of Glory, Lydon has lived a quiet life In the States dealing In real estate. His TV appearances are very few.
Here's a bit of trivia for you...... bet you didn't know that Lydon's career started as an actor In Coronation Street as Gail's boyfriend.

Perhaps you're ignoring the fact that he wrote most of the lyrics. You might try reading the "2008 Ritz Carlton Hotel incident", "2008 Summercase incident" and "2008 Duffy incident" too. Maybe he was just having a bad year, eh? The bad tempered bit oozes through even mundane comments likeHe went on to say, when asked if he was racist, "Absolutely not. And any bugger that dares say so is going to have their day in court with me - you understand this?"Not someone likely to be invited to grace my dinner table, I fear.

Oh... self-publicist. How about I'm a Celebrity, John Lydon's Megabugs ("more an enthusiast than an expert"), John Lydon Goes Ape and John Lydon's Shark Attack. What an egotist twat.

You are assuming I am a fan. Oh how little you know !!
In the 70's I went to many a gig to see punk rock bands but never The Sex Pistols. I loathed each and every one of them particualy Lydon who I wrote off as a prize prick from day one. Having said that, just because Lydon has made a few TV appearances since the 70's , It makes him no more a self publicist than any other artiste who appears on TV. In fact, given the amount of TV appearances since the 70's, over almost 40 years, they are minimal compared to some has been's.
I watched QT last night because I was curious to see If the prize prick had anything to contribute but I was left with the same opinion I had way back In the 70's.

They also refer to Mr Lydon and not you. I have no reason to regard you as a "fan".

I didn't watch it all and so I didn't hear that. When I've recorded it, I watch only the bits I'm interested in
