The police will either prosecute or not prosecute, they won't publish findings.

The police won't prosecute.

I remember the attitude at the time and there really was not a lot of sympathy - if you are stupid enough to open fire on paratroopers you can only expect them to fire back. British troops at the time were not trained to deal with civil unrest they were trained to kill. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I

So what do you think Is behind a new murder Inquiry now? I have to say I'm perplexed. Public pressure maybe? New evidence ?

Saville said it was 1 Para which began the shooting and that none of the forty or so people killed or injured by the military handled a weapon - "firing back" implies those hit had been firing, and Saville says otherwise.

The reason I don't click on video clips is that I don't think it's a fit subject for attempted humour.
