Forest Boy--Do you know him?

Post by YZGI »

I just read this article from Berlin about this boy who has supposedly been living in the forest for around six years according to him. He speaks English and picked up German pretty quickly according to the article.

It will be interesting to see how much of his story is true. If it is how he says, it is a remarkable story.

His mother died when he was twelve and then he and his father took to the forest to live. He got to twelve years old living a normal life and didn't know his own surname? Strange.

He's learning "civilisation" too quickly for someone who has been living wild for five years. It sounds unfeasible.

Won't surprise me to hear that the parents bodies are recovered in the next few days.... he will have been so shocked at witnessing their murder that his mind made up this fiction.

Or he's out of the same mould as Frédéric Bourdin, a couple of people on the Internet have drawn the parallels.

Why did his step mother identify him? Why not his father or some direct relative identify him. It will be interesting to see where and what he has been doing the last 9 months.

It said his father actually died earlier this year during Forest Boy's stay in Germany.

Okay, he said his father died in the woods while they were camping. Now it doesn't seem like he was ever camping with his father. Except for the boy saying his father died I don't see anywhere else that he is actually dead ( I'll assume he is). Hell I'm confusing myself here. I suspect maybe when his father died (assuming he did), thats when he became dismayed and left on his journey.

Now you're confusing me. I think they mentioned it in the video but I could be wrong. I'll go watch it again.

"... real father died earlier this year of natural causes"

So if this kid's been pretending to be 'forest boy' for 9 months, that would have started back in September, right? His father died months after that.
