I'm strangely unmoved by this story. I'm sure that says something terrible about me but in my defense and the defense of her 1000+ facebook "friends", there are more people that lie online than not. You'd be in a state of hysteria if you believed everything you read.

Ultimately, if someone takes their life it's their decision not the fault of someone who didn't listen to them. It's a rather shitty world. Some make it and some don't. If I have a friend sitting at my kitchen table telling me their going to off themselves I have an opportunity to discuss that decision with them. If they're going to post it online and wait to see if anyone "likes" it... they've chosen the wrong venue.
