ALOHA!!

MOTTO TO LIVE BY:

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

If you're implying I lag behind the times, all I can say is that ICQ is still a perfectly functional protocol. And much used in the ex-Soviet Union. "Find me on ICQ:390123211, Comrade", as they say.

You might give me credit for running a 72GB hard drive, I paid good money for that. Well... okay, I got it from a binned computer, but even so. That's like massive, bro.

I noticed that 60% of you're using windows (3 out of 5) and the rest are using Ubuntu which is interesting fact

"Do you use any programing language"? I'm coding in php and Javascript at the moment. I made my living at it for a few years. There's several programmers on FG, some rustier than others.

that's interesting :-2 , you know, these programs rocks and have a lot of application in Engineering and management stuff.

I used to code in Fortran and little C++.. I made a project in Fortran which is simple data-base that can be used in a university registrar office.

thanks :guitarist

Second language I learnt was Fortran II - useful for it speciality and it helped to bring out structure after the machine code I was used to (Simple on a Stantec Zebra) but I never found much to use it on in a real world sense - always had a more appropriate language to use.

I seem to have added the day and year to my display clock but apart from that mine's not changed. The wallpaper, not that you can see it in the snapshot, is the same bluey-green mix. Snooze will no doubt mock some more, the brute.

Presumably you use the iPhone when you're away from your desk. I'd find fewer screen pixels a distraction. I can't focus closer than around 15 inches either, so a laptop screen suits my eyes - I'm not going to start down the slippery slope of reading glasses.

Here's mine! I change the wallpaper weekly ... maybe it's a girl thing. These two sites are where I get them from and I love the variety!

Computer wallpapers / wallbase.cc

Ecards, Free Online Greetings Cards, Birthday eCards, Printable Greeting Cards, Funny eCards and Animated Musical Cards at Blue Mountain

You can see the current one on my screen is the featured wallpaper on the Blue Mountain site.
