Quite a few of 'em are. I say "good morning" to 'em and some just give me a blank stare and walk on. How freaking hard is it to return the greeting, or at least nod?
Cops, deputy's and convicts. My route to the store takes me past the sheriff's office and main jail. The courthouse is right across the street. Some mornings I see deputy's escorting orange suited prisoners chained together, over to the courthouse or back. Sometimes prisoners are used to do yardwork around the courthouse and jail. My SIL is a cook at the jail. At this time, none of my family is a prisoner.
