Well, that sure brought back some memories. I can go back a bit farther on the telephone one though. Back to when live operators ask for your number.

My Sister-in-law still uses her percolator coffee pot. Several times someone has given her a new drip maker, and after a few months, when it dies, and she brings out the old percolator, again. She has had it since the 60's. I do like the sound.

I don't remember live operators for the phones but I do remember percolators. I was too young to drink coffee then so I can't vouch for the taste ... do you remember if it tasted any different than coffee made in a drip maker? I remember how as it was percolating, the coffee would flush up into the glass handle on top. I was easily amused!

I had forgotten all about the flash bulbs. How many of those flashed in your eyes over the years??
